Uganda
Uganda is a prime wildlife destination, offering both forest and savannah experiences. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks, and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, are key attractions. Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, and Kidepo Valley National Parks offer excellent safari experiences. Uganda is home to elephants, hippos, buffalo, lions, giraffes, and over 1,000 bird species. The dry season, from December to February and June to September, is ideal for safaris and gorilla trekking, while the wet season offers fewer crowds and lower prices. Uganda’s parks are open year-round, each season providing unique opportunities.

With diverse habitats that include grasslands, forests, wetlands, and lakes, the park provides a haven for large mammals and primates. While rhinos are absent, it is home to four of the Big Five, and visitors can enjoy chimpanzee trekking as an added attraction.
Kibale Forest National Park
Kibale Forest National Park, is renowned as the best place for chimpanzee trekking in Uganda. It boasts the highest number of primate species in any Ugandan park, with thirteen species recorded, including several species of monkeys that can often be spotted during forest walks. The park is also home to an abundance of birds and butterflies, making it a true paradise for nature enthusiasts.
