Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to No.5 Boutique Hotel. Nestled in tranquil surroundings, No.5 offers luxurious rooms opening to serene gardens and a pool, with spa treatments and a gym.
Entebbe, located on Lake Victoria’s peninsula, offers charming streets, botanical gardens, and nearby attractions like Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, making it a delightful base for exploration.

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a flight to Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival at Kasese Airstrip, transfer to your lodge for lunch and rest. In the evening enjoy a guided game drive along the Kasenyi Plains. Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular, offers boat trips on the Kazinga Channel, home to the world’s largest hippo population and abundant wildlife. Visitors can also explore Kyambura Gorge, known for its chimpanzees, and spot lions and flamingos at crater lakes.

After breakfast, transfer to Kyambura Gorge for a morning chimpanzee trek. Though sightings are not guaranteed, Kyambura Gorge, known as the Valley of the Apes, offers stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, and bird species. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel aboard the Wild Frontiers Kingfisher Boat. Passengers may spot elephants, buffalo, antelope, hippos, crocodiles, and migratory birds along the shores. The cruise also offers views of the Mweya Peninsula and local fishing villages.

After breakfast, transfer to Ishasha in Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park for a guided mid-morning game drive, known for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy lunch at Ishasha Jungle Lodge before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi, Africa’s oldest rainforest, is home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Aside from gorilla trekking, the park features waterfalls, over 340 bird species, butterflies, and stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

After an early breakfast, drive to the headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. Begin your gorilla trek, which can take 2-7 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas before returning to the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hike through dense jungle to track the gorillas, sitting among them in their natural habitat. Marvel at the majestic Silverback and reflect on the fact that only about 650 mountain gorillas remain.
